Santa Ana man arrested in hit-run accident

A Santa Ana man has been arrested in a hit-and-run collision that critically injured a bicyclist last week.
Thomas Trong Ngo, 57, was booked at the Newport Beach city jail late Monday and later released on a $50,000 bond. Ngo is accused of hitting Jon Robert Vansenus, 44, of Santa Ana as he rode in the area of Dover and Cliff drives early on March 7. Police believe that Ngo then fled in his van, leaving Vansenus unconscious and injured.
He was arrested after taking his vehicle to be repaired.
