Alleged terrorism recruiters are slain

Police killed two suspected terrorism recruiters in a gun battle at a boys school after hearing they were trying to sign up students for suicide bombings and holy war, officials said. One police officer was killed by a hand grenade during the brief clash. No students were hurt.
Three suspected militants turned up at the privately run Oxford Public School in Tank, about 60 miles from the Afghan border, local Police Chief Mumtaz Khan said. The third suspect was arrested.
