* San Francisco 3, at New York 0: Barry Zito outpitched Tom Glavine over seven sharp innings and the Giants ended a four-game losing streak. Paul Lo Duca led off the seventh for the Mets with a double for his 1,000th career hit. Barry Bonds went one for three with a walk and remained 10 shy of breaking Hank Aaron’s record of 755 homers.

* San Diego 9, at Pittsburgh 0: Chris Young dominated the Pirates again and Khalil Greene hit a grand slam for the Padres. Young, a former Pirates farmhand, walked one and struck out seven. Pittsburgh has managed seven hits in 23 2/3 career innings against Young (6-3).

* Florida 9, at Chicago 0: Dan Uggla homered twice, and Miguel Cabrera and Josh Willingham went deep to help complete a three-game sweep for the Marlins, who lost starting pitcher Sergio Mitre to a hamstring injury.

* Atlanta 9, at Milwaukee 3: Brian McCann hit a go-ahead, three-run double in a seven-run eighth inning, and the Braves sent the Brewers to their seventh loss in eight games. Prince Fielder hit his league-leading 18th homer for Milwaukee.

* Cincinnati 4, at Houston 3: Aaron Harang pitched a six-hitter for his first complete game of the season, and the Reds handed the Astros their 10th consecutive loss. Harang (6-2) is 6-0 in his last seven starts against the Astros.

* St. Louis 8, at Colorado 4: Todd Wellemeyer earned a victory in his first major league start and Albert Pujols and Jim Edmonds hit consecutive home runs in the fifth inning at Denver to help end the Rockies’ seven-game winning streak.

* Arizona 4, at Philadelphia 3: Randy Johnson tossed one-hit, shutout ball over six innings, and Eric Byrnes homered twice to lead the Diamondbacks to their seventh straight win.

* Dodgers 5, at Washington 0: Derek Lowe pitched seven scoreless innings and combined with relievers Joe Beimel and Rudy Seanez on a four-hitter.
