The post-Memorial Day summer season of festivals kicks off this weekend with a full menu of special interest and community events. All the entrees feature live music and different kinds of entertainment, children’s activities and food. Some fests are centered upon a specialty food item or specific culture and some just celebrate the neighborhood that hosts them. Most are free. Here are just some of the choices:
