Dussault Apparel Motel: Terry Fitzgerald, president of the Canadian fashion brand Dussault Apparel, calls the company’s new flagship store in Los Angeles, opening Thursday, “a trip through a Rob Zombie theme show.” The shop’s interior is designed to resemble a vintage Motel 6. There’s a faux 1970s-style diner with distressed leather banquettes, boxy TVs (renovated with new LCD screens) and an old-school sit-down Tetris machine. Oh, and there’s also the merchandise, which is strewn across the faux motel room, as though cast off in a fit of passion. On display: leather messenger bags ($600), hoodies with embroidered koi fish patches ($395-$495) and premium jeans ($170) for men and women. 8010 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles, (310) 951-9215, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday; noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Kiki de Montparnasse The long-awaited store from New York lingerie brand Kiki de Montparnasse debuted this week on Melrose Avenue. The 3,000-square-foot boutique features three rooms, dubbed Act I, Act II and Act III. Act I isn’t for the prudish: It features riding crops and other dungeon-worthy accouterment, along with silky, lacy lingerie and lounge wear. Act II is an erstwhile apothecary, specializing in bedding, bath and body products and vintage books and DVDs. Act III is a private salon for events and features vintage and one-of-a-kind objects. Like the New York store, the L.A. boutique plans to hold playful salons that revolve around erotic subjects (such as blindfolded aphrodisiac food tastings). Top sellers include peekaboo panties ($125), massage candles ($45) and a personal intimacy kit ($195). 8280 Melrose Ave., (323) 951-9545, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday-Saturday; noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. www.kikidm.com
