* at No. 16 Connecticut 38, Rutgers 19: Donald Brown ran for 154 yards and a touchdown to lead the Huskies (8-1, 4-0) over the Scarlet Knights (5-4, 1-3) at Storrs. Connecticut has an 8-1 for the first time in the program’s 109-year history. Brown had a 33-yard touchdown run in the third quarter and a 70-yard run to set up a fourth-quarter field goal that put the game out of reach.
* Cincinnati 38, at No. 20 South Florida 33: Antwuan Giddens scored on a 63-yard reception and recovered a blocked punt in the end zone for a second score, helping the Bearcats (7-2, 2-2) stop a two-game losing streak in a victory over the Bulls (6-3, 1-3) at Tampa.
* at Pittsburgh 20, Syracuse 17: LeSean McCoy scored the go-ahead touchdown early in the fourth quarter and the Panthers (4-5, 2-2) rallied to beat the Orange (2-7, 1-3). McCoy finished with 140 yards rushing in 31 carries.
