She’s back: After a workshop tryout in San Francisco last August, “The Joan Rivers Theater Project” will get its world premiere production at the Geffen Playhouse in Westwood from Feb. 5 to March 30. The play, which Rivers wrote and stars in, is described as a four-character autobiographical discourse on “aging, going through life’s ups and downs and being a woman in Hollywood.”
Musical Guest: Writer-director Christopher Guest will join in on guitar and vocals Nov. 30 when students and faculty from the Berklee College of Music in Boston perform music from his films “This Is Spinal Tap,” “A Mighty Wind” and “Waiting for Guffman.”
