* Denver 113, at Indiana 106: Carmelo Anthony had 32 points and 10 rebounds to help the Nuggets overcome the Pacers’ 46-point first quarter in beating Indiana for the seventh straight time. Trailing by 25 at halftime, the Nuggets were still behind, 101-97, with just under four minutes left before scoring the next 10 points, capped by Allen Iverson’s three-pointer.

* at Portland 91, Dallas 82: Brandon Roy scored a career-high 32 points and the Trail Blazers held Dirk Nowitzki to 11 to end a 13-game losing streak to the Mavericks. The Blazers led by as many as 18 points in winning their third in a row and shot 50% from the floor. The streak was a franchise record for the Mavericks over a single opponent.

* Boston 112, at New Jersey 101: Hours after attending the funeral of his father in Illinois, Coach Doc Rivers led the league’s only undefeated team team (5-0) to the franchise’s best start since 1987-88. Paul Pierce had 28 points, Ray Allen added 27 and Kevin Garnett had 18 points and 14 rebounds. The Nets trailed by as many as 23 points in the fourth quarter.

* Phoenix 106, at Orlando 96: Leandro Barbosa scored a career-high 39 points to help the Suns withstand a 33-point, 18-rebound effort by Dwight Howard in ending the Magic’s four-game winning streak. Grant Hill, finishing with 14 points and eight rebounds in his first game in Orlando since leaving as a free agent in the off-season, was booed all night.

* at Utah 118, Memphis 94: Carlos Boozer scored 31 points and Deron Williams had 20 points and 13 assists as the Jazz turned the Grizzlies’ 25 turnovers into 24 points en route to an easy victory. Andrei Kirilenko had 15 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists to fall just shy of his third career triple-double as the Jazz won its third game in a row.

* at Sacramento 100, Minnesota 93: Kevin Martin had 29 points and Brad Miller added 12 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Kings past the winless Timberwolves (0-5) in a game that was tied 21 times. Sacramento finally put the game away with a 12-4 game-ending run.

* Toronto 101, at Chicago 71: Before being benched early in the third quarter, Luol Deng had only five points on two-of-seven shooting as the Bulls fell to 1-5 before starting a six-game trip.
