* at No. 2 Louisiana State 58, Louisiana Tech 10: Matt Flynn passed for 237 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Tigers (9-1) to an easy win over the Bulldogs (4-6) at Baton Rouge and a probable No. 1 ranking this week with top-ranked Ohio State having lost earlier Saturday. Flynn’s scoring strikes included a career-long 71-yarder to Terrance Tolliver, which was also a career long reception for the freshman receiver.

* No. 17 Florida 51, at South Carolina 31: Tim Tebow accounted for all seven of his team’s touchdowns, a school record five rushing and two passing, as the Gators (7-3, 5-3) kept alive their hopes of making the SEC title game with a victory over the Gamecocks (6-5, 3-5) at Columbia. Tebow completed 22 of 32 passes for a career-best 304 yards and ran for 120 yards in 26 carries.

* at Mississippi State 17, No. 21 Alabama 12: Anthony Johnson returned an interception a school-record 100 yards for a touchdown and the Bulldogs (6-4, 3-3) became bowl eligible for the first time since 2000 with an upset of the Crimson Tide (6-4, 4-3) at Starkville. It was the second straight win over his alma mater for Coach Sylvester Croom.

* at No. 22 Tennessee 34, Arkansas 13: Erik Ainge threw two touchdown passes and Arian Foster ran for another touchdown to lead the Volunteers (7-3, 4-2) over the Razorbacks (6-4, 2-4) at Knoxville. Arkansas’ Darren McFadden, the SEC’s top rusher, finished with 117 yards in 22 carries. Tennessee will play in the SEC championship with wins in its games against Vanderbilt and Kentucky.

* No. 24 Kentucky 27, Vanderbilt 20: Andre Woodson threw for 222 yards, Rafael Little had 70 yards rushing and the Wildcats (7-3, 3-3) beat the Commodores (5-5, 2-5) at Nashville to keep alive their slim hopes of a berth in the SEC title game.
