INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Colts relied on flawless execution to score on six of their last eight possessions in a 38-20 victory over the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

Despite overpowering the Colts with its usually efficient ground game in the first half, Denver lost for the second straight week.

Peyton Manning methodically rallied the Colts (4-0) from a 10-0 first-quarter deficit, and Joseph Addai helped them control the ball for much of the second half when Denver (2-2) struggled to put drives together. Manning was 20 for 27 for 193 yards with three touchdowns, and Addai had 136 yards in 19 carries and one touchdown.

Addai injured a shoulder and wasn’t on the field at the end.
