David Arquette, 36, and Courteney Cox, 43, met on the set of “Scream” in 1996. Now here they are, a married celebrity couple with a daughter -- Coco Riley, 3 -- and another horror film to their credit, this time directed and co-written by Arquette. “The Tripper,” out this week on DVD, also stars Arquette and features Cox in a cameo.

COURT DATE I try to get out and play some basketball on weekends, and there are a few good courts around, like on San Vicente between Melrose and Santa Monica. Venice has good games, but it can get dodgy; you have to be careful who you foul. Pan Pacific Park has a great gym they sometimes open to the public. L.A. SCENE STEALERS We go to Nobu a lot, which is a little crazy with paparazzi. But we’ll brave it because we love the food so much. Same thing with Il Sole in West Hollywood, which has just beautiful Italian cuisine. SOME FINE ROMANCE But if you’re looking for a world-class seduction spot, with beautiful wine and a wonderful chef, go to Melisse in Santa Monica. It’s my favorite romantic restaurant. SLICE OF THE APPLE The closest thing we have to New York-style Chinese food is Chang’s, a little off the beaten path in a Brentwood mini-mall. But inside it feels just like New York. FOR A WILD NIGHT, CALL . . . I don’t do clubs anymore -- that’s for single people. But if a friend from out of town is looking to see some night life, there’s a kid named Hartwell with a promotion group called Alliance. They do Teddy’s out of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, and on Fridays he has Les Deux, which is pretty wild. FOOD FOR THE SOUL Love taking Coco to the Hollywood Farmers Market, where there’s a nice reggae drummer who has instruments for kids to play, and they can sing along. After that we’ll pick up some fruit, vegetables and flowers. Oh, and we’ll get kettle corn -- love the kettle corn. WATER WORKS In the afternoon we might head to Heal the Bay’s Aquarium in Santa Monica, where they have interactive exhibits for the kids; they can even feed the fish there. Renting bikes in Venice and riding along the boardwalk is always sweet. But then so is just swimming in the ocean.
