Well-behaved big crowd at Burning Man

A record crowd gathered in the northern Nevada desert for the traditional climax of the Burning Man counterculture arts festival. The crowd of just over 47,000 was about 21% larger than last year’s, according to the Bureau of Land Management.
No major problems were reported during the weeklong gathering leading up to Labor Day in the Black Rock Desert, about 110 miles north of Reno.
