at New Jersey 3, Boston 2 (SO): Zach Parise scored the only goal in a four-round shootout and the Devils won their third consecutive game. The Bruins inched closer to a playoff spot, earning a point for the sixth consecutive game (3-0-3).
at Carolina 6, Tampa Bay 2: Chad LaRose scored three goals to help move the Hurricanes to within one win of the Southeast Division title. Cam Ward made 23 shots in his career-best 19th consecutive start.
at Pittsburgh 4, Philadelphia 2: Sidney Crosby scored twice and Evgeni Malkin netted the go-ahead goal, and the Penguins clinched their first division title in 10 years.
at Chicago 6, Detroit 2: Patrick Kane had a goal and two assists and the Blackhawks kept their playoff hopes alive. Kane regained the rookie scoring lead, moving two points ahead of Washington’s Nicklas Backstrom.
