Man dies in apparent gang shooting in Boyle Heights

A man in his early 20s was shot to death in Boyle Heights on Monday night in what police called an apparent gang-related attack.
The man, whose name was not released, was shot in the chest at or near a market in the 500 block of South Lorena Street just before 8 p.m., said Los Angeles Police Officer Ana Aguirre.
At least two suspects, described as men with shaved heads, fled on foot, Aguirre said.
