at Indiana 112, Atlanta 98: Mike Dunleavy scored 28 points and the Pacers avoided elimination from the Eastern Conference playoff race. The Pacers, one of the hottest teams in the East, have won three in a row and nine of 12.

at Charlotte 121, Minnesota 119: Jason Richardson scored 36 points and the Bobcats held on after losing an 18-point lead in the first half. The Timberwolves’ Al Jefferson, who matched a career high with 40 points, missed an open 19-foot shot at the buzzer.

at Miami 95, Chicago 88: Kasib Powell scored a career-high 18 points in his first game back from the NBA Development League and the Heat ended a seven-game losing streak.

Phoenix 127, at Memphis 113: Amare Stoudemire had 28 points and 11 rebounds and the Suns won without Shaquille O’Neal, who sat out because of a right hip bruise. Phoenix moved half a game behind the idle Houston Rockets for the fifth spot in the Western Conference playoff race.

Boston 107, at Milwaukee 104 (OT): Kevin Garnett had 21 points, Paul Pierce scored 14 and Ray Allen added 11 in the Celtics’ victory.

New York 98, at Detroit 94: Wilson Chandler scored all of his 19 points in the first half and the Knicks won their second in a row after losing 10 of 11.

at Dallas 99, Seattle 83: Jason Terry scored 22 points, Josh Howard added 17 and the Mavericks crept closer to a playoff berth while sending the SuperSonics to a club-record 60th loss.

at Golden State 140, Sacramento 132: Baron Davis had 33 points and nine assists and the Warriors stayed in the frantic Western Conference playoff race.

at Portland 112, Lakers 103: The Trail Blazers ended the Lakers’ four-game winning streak.

Denver 117, at Clippers 99: Carmelo Anthony scored 36 points and the Nuggets routed the Clippers.
