Court reinstates credit card suit
From Times Wire Services
A federal appeals court in New York has reinstated a lawsuit brought by credit card holders against some of the nation’s biggest banks.
The card holders say the banks joined forces to make it harder for individuals to make legal claims against them by requiring arbitration. Their suit was filed in 2005.
Among those being sued are Bank of America Corp., JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Citigroup Inc.
