Controversial judge is losing
From Times Wire Reports
Las Vegas Judge Elizabeth Halverson was headed for a lopsided defeat in the primary, with just 11% of the vote.
With half the votes counted, Stefany Miley, with 58%, and Jason Landess, with 30%, were all but guaranteed to advance to November’s general election.
Halverson, 50, has been accused of a wide range of misconduct, including creating a hostile work environment and asking her bailiff to rub her feet.
