Man sentenced in child porn case
A 46-year-old Poway man was sentenced Friday in federal court to 41 months in prison for his guilty plea to possession of child pornography.
Lawrence Nixon was formerly a San Diego County employee whose job involved preparing photographs for court documents, including child pornography cases. He pleaded guilty to keeping more than 600 images in his personal computer showing children in sexually suggestive poses.
