Colts...35 Bengals...3

Peyton Manning threw for three touchdowns, Dominic Rhodes ran for one and cornerback Kelvin Hayden’s interception return produced another as the Indianapolis Colts beat Cincinnati, 35-3, for their sixth win in a row.

It was a stark contrast from the last month when the Colts became the third team in NFL history to win five consecutive games by six points or fewer.

Manning’s winning mixture of methodical drives and quick-hitting plays was too much for Cincinnati’s beleaguered defense, and after failing to score an offensive touchdown last week at Cleveland, the Colts (9-4) had three touchdown drives of 69 yards or longer.

Their most lopsided win this season also kept them in position for one of two AFC wild-card spots. The Colts play host to Detroit next week.

The Bengals (1-11-1) lost four turnovers -- one stopped a potential scoring drive, one set up a Colts score, the third was returned for a touchdown and the last ended the game.

Quoteworthy: “If we get in [the playoffs], I think we’ll have as good a shot as anyone.” -- Tony Dungy, Colts coach
