Zach Randolph scored a season-high 38 points against his former team Friday night, leading the Clippers to a 120-112 double-overtime victory over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Randolph also had 11 rebounds. Baron Davis scored 27 points for the Clippers and made a three-point shot that sent the game into the first overtime.

Brandon Roy scored a career-high 38 points, and rookie Greg Oden had 15 points and 15 rebounds for the Trail Blazers.

After Roy’s jump shot tied it at 108-108 in the second overtime, the Clippers made four unanswered baskets to go up 116-108 and cruised to a surprising victory. The Clippers are 5-17, the Trail Blazers 15-10.

“Man, we’re just building,” said Randolph, who had six points in the second overtime.

Randolph was drafted by the Trail Blazers in 2001 and played six seasons in Portland. He was acquired by the Clippers in a Nov. 21 trade with New York, a deal that also sent guard Mardy Collins west.

After sending the game into overtime with his three-pointer, Davis opened the extra period with another one. Roy’s second consecutive fadeaway jump shot tied it at 106 with 15 seconds left in the first overtime, and Davis missed on a long jumper at the buzzer for a second overtime.

Randolph was booed by the Rose Garden crowd when he made a three-pointer early in the game that put the Clippers ahead, 20-17.

The Trail Blazers regained the lead with six consecutive points and went on to take a 32-26 lead at the end of first quarter on Rudy Fernandez’s three-pointer. The Clippers went on an 8-0 run to open the second quarter and took a 57-54 lead into the break.

The Blazers went back ahead at 70-69 on Oden’s dunk. But the Clippers kept it close and the teams traded the lead through most of the second half.

Randolph was blocked and then fouled by Oden with 3:13 left, and Randolph postured by bumping the 7-foot rookie with his shoulder.
