at Cleveland 93, Washington 89: After trailing the woeful Wizards by eight in the last quarter, the Cavaliers scored 11 consecutive points in the final 1:33 to preserve their perfect home record. Mo Williams scored 24 points, and LeBron James and Delonte West had 18 apiece for the Cavaliers, who at 15-0 are the NBA’s lone unbeaten team at home. Antawn Jamison scored 28 points and Mike James 26 for the Wizards, who dropped their eighth in a row.

at Orlando 88, New Orleans 68: Hedo Turkoglu scored 20 points to lead the Magic, which built a 30-point halftime lead. The Hornets’ Chris Paul didn’t have a steal, ending his league-record string of 108 games. “Half the time when I got a steal I didn’t even know it,” said Paul, who was unaware his streak ended until after the game. “It was going to end at some point, so why not Christmas?”

Dallas 102, at Portland 94: Dirk Nowitzki scored 30 points and the Mavericks held the Trail Blazers to 14 points in the fourth quarter. Jason Kidd had only six points for Dallas, but he had 12 rebounds and 10 assists.
