Loyola is routed by Gonzaga

Matt Bouldin scored 17 points and Jeremy Pargo had 15 points and six steals as Gonzaga rolled past Loyola Marymount, 83-50, on Monday at Spokane, Wash.

David Pendergraft and Josh Heytvelt had 11 points apiece for the Bulldogs, 19-6 overall, 8-1 in the West Coast Conference.

Shawn Deadwiler had 11 points for the Lions (5-20, 2-7).

The Bulldogs, who led 31-21 at halftime, dominated the second half with 68% shooting.

Pepperdine 71, Portland 66 -- Rico Tucker scored all 17 of his points in the second half to help the Waves (8-17, 2-7 West Coast) overcome an 18-point deficit in the final 9:17 at Portland, Ore.

Pepperdine trailed, 51-33, before closing to within two after a 17-1 run. Portland (8-17, 2-7) built its lead to 66-61 with 2:18 left before Tucker scored eight points in a 10-0 run.

Nik Raivio led Portland with 17 points.
