“The Very Hungry Caterpillar”

Eric Carle

A young caterpillar was born on a leaf. He was very, very hungry. The caterpillar ate so much fruit he got a stomachache. He went into a cocoon for two weeks. Then he became a butterfly.

My opinion is that this is a colorful, clever book with lots of surprises. This is my favorite book from kindergarten.
