The Galaxy this week bolstered its porous defense by signing defender Eduardo Dominguez, 29, a 12-year veteran of the Argentine and Colombian leagues. He will not be available until receiving a U.S. work visa. Chivas USA this week lost forward Jorge Flores to a sprained right ankle suffered in training. He won’t play tonight and will miss the U.S. under-20 national team’s match against Mexico in Laredo, Texas, on Friday.
