GE arm discloses marketing probe

General Electric Co.’s finance arm says two units are being investigated in connection with an industrywide probe into the marketing and sales of financial instruments to municipalities.
Documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission show that GE Funding CMS and GE Funding Capital Market Services Inc. have been subpoenaed for information.
