* at Arizona 5, Washington 0: Dan Haren (6-4) tossed seven sharp innings and Orlando Hudson hit a three-run homer for the Diamondbacks, who posted consecutive shutouts for the first time since May 2006. Haren gave up four hits, walked three and struck out five.

* at Philadelphia 7, Florida 5: Chase Utley hit his major league-leading 20th home run, Pat Burrell had a tiebreaking, two-run double and the Phillies rallied to move back into first in the NL East.

* at Cincinnati 6, Atlanta 2: Ken Griffey Jr. remained one home run shy of 600, but Jay Bruce had a solo shot and a run-scoring single to lead the Reds. Atlanta dropped to 7-21 on the road and was swept in Cincinnati for the first time since September 1996.

* at St. Louis 7, Pittsburgh 4: Braden Looper was a double threat. Looper had two singles, scored twice, and drove in a run to raise his batting average to .429 -- tops among pitchers in the majors. Looper (7-4) gave up eight hits and three runs in 5 2/3 innings.

* at San Francisco 4, San Diego 3 (10 innings): Pinch-hitter Fred Lewis hit a two-run, game-tying triple off Padres closer Trevor Hoffman in the 10th inning and scored the winning run on Jose Castillo’s infield single.

* at Milwaukee 10, Houston 1: Ryan Braun and Russell Branyan hit two-run homers and the Brewers finished off a sweep of the weekend series.

* at Chicago 5, Colorado 3: The Rockies’ Ubaldo Jimenez (1-6) remained winless since April 8.

* at New York 6, Dodgers 1: Johan Santana (7-3) pitched into the eighth inning to earn his 100th victory.
