From the Associated Press

Detroit 101, at New York 97: Tayshaun Prince made a runner that gave the Pistons a 99-95 lead with 9.9 seconds left. The Pistons overcame the absence of starting forward Rasheed Wallace, sidelined by a sprained left ankle, and the loss of leading scorer Richard Hamilton to an ejection late in the first half to lower their magic number to one for clinching their seventh consecutive playoff berth.

Golden State 134, at Miami 99: The Warriors handed the shorthanded Heat its biggest loss of the season. Miami -- without Dwyane Wade, sidelined by left knee soreness -- had only seven available players. The Heat played the final 4 1/2 minutes with one available substitute after Udonis Haslem tweaked a sore ankle.

at Charlotte 108, Atlanta 93: The fourth-year Bobcats, who matched a team record with their fourth win in a row, sent the Hawks to another damaging loss as they fight for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Washington 110, at Toronto 106 (OT): Antawn Jamison scored six of the Wizards’ last eight points in overtime, including four free throws in the final 40 seconds. The Raptors played without star forward Chris Bosh, who sat out his fourth consecutive game because of a sore right knee.

at New Orleans 107, New Jersey 96: Chris Paul’s steal in the first quarter gave him at least one steal in all 59 games in which he has played this season, a franchise record and the longest streak in the NBA.

at Philadelphia 117, Seattle 83: The 76ers, who extended their home winning streak to eight, have won 11 of 14 to move into seventh place in the Eastern Conference.

Portland 103, at Milwaukee 101: LaMarcus Aldridge made a 13-foot jumper with 2.4 seconds left. The Bucks were without guard Mo Williams, who has an abdominal strain, and forward Yi Jianlian, who has a sprained ankle.

at Denver 109, San Antonio 96: Allen Iverson scored 29 points despite spraining his right ring finger during the first half to help end the Spurs’ 11-game winning streak. Carmelo Anthony overcame a bad first half (one-for-seven shooting) to finish with 25 points.
