Brave enough for Hollywood

AT THE “Stop-Loss” premiere at the Directors Guild of America on Monday, soldiers and veterans, both in and out of fatigues, showed up to support the Iraq war flick. It seems 1. Ryan Phillippe and director Kimberly Peirce, who got a case of the giggles on the red carpet, also donned a uniform of sorts: white shirt and coat. 2. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, second from right, bonded with wounded vets, the Army’s Salvador Sanchez, left, Estaban Gomez and Joyce Espinosa and Marine Art Williams, all of whom earned Purple Hearts while serving in Iraq . After the heavy film, guests lightened up with a shindig in the lobby, which was transformed into a club complete with gray sharkskin banquettes and tunes by DJ Lee Dyson.
