New Orleans 114, at Indiana 106: The Hornets began a six-game trip by maintaining the best record in the Western Conference (48-21) behind David West’s 35 points and 16 rebounds and Chris Paul’s 31 points and 14 assists.
San Antonio 107, at Orlando 97: Manu Ginobili scored 28 points and Michael Finley had 24 as the Spurs won their fourth in a row. Orlando lost starters Hedo Turkoglu (sprained wrist) and Jameer Nelson (bruised jaw) in the first half.
at Chicago 103, Atlanta 94: Drew Gooden scored a season-high 31 points and matched a season best with 16 rebounds to help the Bulls past the Hawks.
at Utah 128, Charlotte 106: The Jazz outrebounded the Bobcats49-28, and forced 21 turnovers in sending them to their sixth straight road loss. Carlos Boozer had 28 points.
at Portland 102, Washington 82: Martell Webster had 23 points as the Trail Blazers overcame the loss of leading scorer Brandon Roy, who left because of a strained groin.
at Dallas 103, Clippers 90: Josh Howard scored 20 of the Mavericks’ 26 points in a pivotal span. He finished with 32.
