A crusading mom

I found Kenneth Turan’s review of “Changeling” highly inadequate [“Mom Versus World,” Oct. 24]. This story has profound implications and historical significance for Los Angeles and for women.

If it is true that corruption in the Los Angeles Police Department was severely curtailed through Christine Collins’ steadfast efforts for justice on several issues, then a statue outside the main precinct of the LAPD and inclusion in California history books would not only seem appropriate but essential to preserve the memory of this courageous woman.
