Miami 24, at Virginia 17 (OT): Jacory Harris threw a tying touchdown pass in the final minute and another TD pass in overtime to give Miami the win at Charlottesville and a tie for the lead in the Coastal Division. Harris connected with Laron Byrd on a desperation heave from 26 yards to tie the score, then found Aldarius Johnson near the left pylon to give Miami the lead in overtime. When Virginia’s Cedric Peerman was stripped of the ball on the Cavaliers’ first play of overtime, the Hurricanes (6-3, 3-2) had their fourth win in a row. Virginia (5-4, 3-2) saw its winning streak end at four games.

Clemson 27, at Boston College 21: C.J. Spiller caught six passes for 105 yards -- the most for a running back in Clemson history -- and set up another touchdown with a 57-yard scamper. The Tigers (4-4, 2-3) had not beaten the Eagles (5-3, 2-3) in six tries since 1958. Cullen Harper completed 21 of 33 passes for 252 yards, and linebacker DeAndre McDaniel forced a key fourth-quarter fumble to set up the Tigers’ final field goal. Chris Crane completed 18 of 39 passes for 116 yards, but he was helped by a special-teams touchdown and two set up by interceptions that left the offense with a short field.

at Wake Forest 33, Duke 30 (OT): Shane Popham kicked a 28-yard field goal in overtime, and Alphonso Smith intercepted Thaddeus Lewis’ last pass near the goal line to secure the victory at Winston-Salem, N.C., for the Demon Deacons (5-3, 3-2), who blew a 12-point lead but made it to overtime when Nick Maggio missed a 41-yard field-goal try for Duke (4-4, 1-3).
