Update -- The expected prevailing theme, Baron Davis matching up against his former Warriors teammates, was overshadowed this week by the mini-controversy between Davis and Mike Dunleavy. Davis was asked whether this was the best or worst time to be playing a game against Golden State. “It’s coming at a real good time,” he said. “We just have to approach every game as if it’s our last game, starting tomorrow afternoon.” Marcus Camby sat out practice Friday because of flu-like symptoms, Dunleavy said. Camby’s availability will be a game-time decision. This matchup also marks the return of former Clippers forward Corey Maggette. The Warriors’ free-agent acquisition sat out four games this month because of a strained hamstring but returned to the court in Thursday’s loss to the Detroit Pistons. He had 13 points in 28 minutes.
