Add this to the growing list of incentives offered by the travel industry: If you ski for at least three days at one of the five Vail Resorts, your kids get up to $45 in free daily food vouchers.
The deal: When parents book a three-day, three-night ski or snowboarding vacation through Vail Resorts before Dec. 14, they get up to $30 in dining vouchers per child per day, to be spent at on-mountain eateries. (Limit two kids per family.) If the families stay at a participating Vail Resort property, each kid gets an additional $15 dining voucher. The “Kids Eat Free” deal is available this season at Heavenly ski resort in the Lake Tahoe area and at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone resorts in Colorado. Heavenly and Vail were to have opened Friday. Beaver Creek is to open Wednesday. Breckenridge and Keystone opened Nov. 7.
