Police search for mall shooter
Police sought a young gunman a day after a shooting at a busy Seattle-area shopping mall left one teenager dead and another seriously wounded.
At least four people were detained and questioned after the shooting Saturday afternoon at Southcenter Mall in Tukwila, Police Officer Mike Murphy said. The mall was jammed with thousands of pre-Thanksgiving Day shoppers.
Murphy said the shooting stemmed from a fight between two groups of people and might have been gang-related. The gunman and the two victims were all in their late teens or early 20s, authorities said.
