Falcons...45 Panthers...28
Michael Turner scored four touchdowns in what has been a career season, but the Atlanta Falcons (7-4) have gotten used to their running back coming up big.
They never could’ve imagined what Harry Douglas was going to do.
The rookie receiver scored the first touchdown of his career on a seven-yard end-around, caught a 69-yard pass that set up a touchdown, then finished off the Carolina Panthers (8-3) with a 61-yard punt return that carried the Falcons to a 45-28 win.
Turner also went over 1,000 yards rushing for the first time in his career.
Quoteworthy: “He continues to run hard from the first quarter through the fourth quarter. He’s tough to bring down.” -- Matt Ryan, Falcons quarterback, on teammate Michael Turner
