INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Colts have a message for the rest of the NFL.
They’re back.
Peyton Manning threw two touchdown passes to Marvin Harrison and one to Reggie Wayne, and the Colts’ offense finally got itself righted, routing the Baltimore Ravens’ top-ranked defense, 31-3.
The Colts (3-2) played with the precision, efficiency and passion Coach Tony Dungy had been seeking, and they delivered their best overall performance in months.
Harrison caught two touchdown passes in a game for the first time since Dec. 24, 2006, and the threat of a running game that had been grounded for the first four weeks helped open up the downfield routes for Manning. The two-time league most valuable player completed 19 of 28 for 271 yards and three touchdowns, easily his best game of the season.
Rookie quarterback Joe Flacco threw for 241 yards for Baltimore, which fell to 2-3.
