Three people die on Kauai
From Times Wire Reports
Two sisters-in-law died when they were swept out to sea on Kauai. A snorkeler also died elsewhere on the island.
The women were strolling along Queen’s Bath in Princeville on Sunday when a large wave knocked one of the women down and a second wave swept both into the water, police said. Earlier Sunday, a body surfer at Kapaa found the body of a snorkeler in the water.
Drowning appeared to be the cause of all three deaths, but autopsies were scheduled for today.
