Going south

Regarding T.J. Simers’ latest rip at San Diego, this native Angeleno prefers to be able to see the sky, breathe the air and drive downtown in less than two hours. Besides, we get one Lakers game each preseason, and, as unfulfilled as the Chargers have left this town, we do get to attend NFL games if we want to.

Also, we take for granted that the Union-Tribune is quite the rag compared with the L.A. Times, but you’re doing an excellent job putting The Times on par with our local paper.
