Update: A 5-3 victory at Edmonton on Tuesday that put the Ducks back among the top eight in the West also extended their road success to 7-2-1 since late February. Overall, they’re 8-2 in their last 10, with their power play providing a big boost. They’re 11 for 29 with an extra man in their last six games and 14 for 36 in their last eight. Bobby Ryan, cut in the face Tuesday, and Todd Marchant, who took a shot in the midsection and had the wind knocked out of him, practiced Wednesday. The Canucks, atop the Northwest Division after a 2-1 overtime victory over Minnesota on Tuesday, are 20-5-1 since the start of February. Goaltender Roberto Luongo ranks among the league leaders with a 2.34 goals-against average and .920 save percentage.
