Update: Chivas USA will be seeking to rebound from an unexpected midweek loss at Toronto, where a goal by former Chivas player Amado Guevara gave the home team a 1-0 win and ended Chivas’ unbeaten run this season. A failed clearance kick that sailed straight up into the air, a well-directed header into Guevara’s path by Danny Dichio and the inability of three defenders to close Guevara down led to the goal on the rain-slickened artificial surface. “It was a tough game,” said Chivas USA Coach Preki. “Different and difficult conditions, bouncy, windy. . . . I think we were a little soft on the [goal-scoring] play. They got a lucky bounce. We should have done better.” Dallas has picked up only four of a possible 15 points and has beaten only Toronto.
