Farewell, Kurt

The Lakers won’t miss Kurt Rambis nearly as much as the City of Los Angeles will. As a player, Rambis gave us everything he had every night. On championship teams filled with stars he was the antithesis of “Showtime.”

This consummate professional leaves for Minnesota with our blessing. We only hope Kurt doesn’t do to his former franchise what Mike Scioscia has done to the Dodgers -- win championships for others.
