Cavaliers shut down Hawks in fourth quarter to win, 95-84

The Cleveland Cavaliers held Atlanta scoreless for almost nine minutes to open the fourth quarter and scored the first 10 points of the period to break open a close game and beat the Hawks, 95-84, Tuesday night.

Mo Williams had 20 points for the Cavaliers, who won in their first game at Philips Arena since completing a four-game sweep of the Hawks in the second round of last season’s playoffs.

LeBron James had 14 points, 10 assists and five steals but made only six of 20 shots.

The Hawks were outscored, 20-10, in the fourth quarter.
