One man died Sunday, and another was taken into custody after the car in which they were driving skidded off the 605 Freeway.
The accident happened about 6 p.m. near the Rose Hills Road exit, said Officer Jose Nunez of the California Highway Patrol. The victim died shortly after the crash, and the other man, who was believed to have been driving, was taken into custody on suspicion of drunken driving, Nunez said.
