AT N.Y. ISLANDERS

Time: 4 PST.

On the air: TV: FS West. Radio: 1150.

Where: Nassau Coliseum.

Records: Kings 23-21-7, Islanders 16-31-5.

Update: Winners of three straight and six of seven, the Kings will try to go three games over .500 (or what the NHL defines as .500) for the first time since the 2005-06 season. Goaltender Jonathan Quick was chosen as the NHL’s first star of the week for saving 95 of 100 shots in victories at Ottawa, Washington and New Jersey. In 18 games this season he’s 10-6-0 with a 2.38 goals-against average and .920 save percentage. He’s expected to start again today. The Islanders have lost their last two games, both on the road, but have a three-game winning streak at home.
