Update: The Ducks, who have lost four of their last five games, learned Thursday that defenseman Kent Huskins will be out two to three weeks with a broken bone in his right foot. He was replaced on the roster by Brendan Mikkelson, recalled from Iowa of the American Hockey League. The Ducks were without defenseman Bret Hedican in their shutout loss to Columbus on Wednesday.The Flyers, who entered the new year fourth in the NHL in scoring, have their own injury problems after losing left winger Simon Gagne to a blindside hit by Vancouver’s Kevin Bieska on Tuesday. Gagne, second on the team in scoring, is expected to miss the rest of the six-game trip.
