On the air: TV: FS West; Radio: 830.
Where: Honda Center.
Records: Ducks 24-21-5. Blackhawks 25-12-8.
Record vs. Blackhawks: 1-1.
Update: Just as the Ducks came roaring out of the All-Star break with a season-high seven goals in a win over Phoenix, Chicago is hoping the break will invigorate its once flourishing offense. The Blackhawks scored four regulation goals in their previous four games before the break, going 1-2-1. But Patrick Kane, who has 42 points, is one of the NHL’s top young players and Patrick Sharp has a team-leading 21 goals. Ducks goalie Jonas Hiller started both games against the Blackhawks, a 1-0 victory and a 4-2 loss in which Chicago scored twice in the final 1:35. Hiller started in Tuesday’s 7-3 win over Phoenix, a sign perhaps that patience is growing thin with starter Jean-Sebastien Giguere, who has struggled the last month.
