A gold star for Bratton
Re “U.S. ends oversight of L.A. police,” July 18
Congratulations to Chief William Bratton and the LAPD for getting out from under the federal consent decree. That is an accomplishment.
Next, we need to get the state prisons out from under the feds.
When Bratton finishes his second term as LAPD chief, maybe he’ll take over the state prisons and turn them around.
