THE $99 DEAL

Guests can book a houseboat or yacht at the Harbor Vacations Club in San Diego Harbor for as little as $99 per night for one-bedroom yachts and $179 for two-stateroom houseboats. The boats can’t leave the dock, but the setting is quiet and relaxing and just minutes from many of the city’s attractions.

The deal: The fully furnished yachts or houseboats are generally 45 to 55 feet long. They come equipped with private staterooms, salons with television, DVD and stereo, washer and dryer, shower, galley and dining area. Free wireless Internet is included. The offer is subject to availability and is valid through Aug. 31. There is a required two-night minimum stay, and payment (nonrefundable) must be made in advance. You must book online by July 31.
