Carl Crawford and Pat Burrell hit home runs and Tampa Bay beat Toronto, 4-1, Monday for its sixth consecutive victory.

The Rays ruined the return of Roy Halladay from the disabled list. Halladay (10-2), who had won his previous seven decisions, was starting for the first time since June 12, when he left in the fourth inning against Florida because of a sore groin.

Jeff Niemann (7-4) won his third consecutive decision, giving up one run and four hits in 7 1/3 innings.

The Rays scored two runs in the third inning against Halladay on Crawford’s seventh home run.

Tampa Bay scored twice in the seventh inning against Jeremy Accardo when Burrell led off with a home run and B.J. Upton hit a sacrifice fly.
