at Utah 104, Phoenix 99 (OT): Deron Williams scored seven of his 21 points in overtime, and the Jazz blew a 21-point, third-quarter lead before tying it with a frenzied comeback at the end of regulation. Williams also had 13 assists and scored Utah’s last four points during a 9-2 run to close the fourth quarter and force overtime. Mehmet Okur finished with 26 points and 11 rebounds for Utah, which won its 14th in a row at home.

at Charlotte 96, New York 85: Gerald Wallace had 23 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, and the Bobcats matched a modest franchise record for victories. Larry Brown earned a split in the season series with his former team, coaching the fifth-year Bobcats to their 33rd win in his first season to stay in the hunt for their first playoff berth.

at Miami 102, Milwaukee 85: Dwyane Wade scored 27 points, Udonis Haslem had 16 points and 12 rebounds for his 100th career double-double, and the Heat (39-34) moved a full game ahead of Philadelphia in the race for fifth in the East -- a crucial spot because it would ensure not seeing Cleveland, Orlando or Boston until at least the second round of the playoffs.
